Helen Carter-Horn
Minister Helen Carter-Horn is a loving widowed retired mother of 5, born and raised in Tulsa OK and lifelong member of St. Paul AME in Tulsa Ok!! In her personal time, she loves to crocheted, sew, knit, cook, bowl, sing, playing the piano and listening to music.
Sis Carter-Horn has retired as a TPS/Early Childhood Education cafeteria manager for 30 years, and was lauded for her hard work and dedication to excellence. She was also awarded a certificate of appreciation for feeding 400 hungry children through the feed the children program.
Minister Helen Carter-Horn is a recipient of the Humanitarian Award from State Senator Judy McIntyre and representative Jabar Shumate. She also received a Humanitarian Award from Dr. Barbara Jean Chappelle. Minister Horn as been awarded the Woman of the Year award and a Feeding the Elderly Award from St. Paul AME Church.
Sister Helen has served as a Stewardess, Trustee Pro Tem, and president of the choir. She is extremely devoted to the love and the work of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She continues to serve her community and church that she has been a life long member of. We are so grateful and blessed to have Sister Helen Carter-Horn working on the ministerial staff of St. Paul AME Church.
